Slowly making progress

Progress has been pretty slow. The weather has been an issue. For the most part though lack of time is the issue. We have had things going on at least one day each weekend which only leaves one day to work on the house. A few of those weekend days were spent repairing a water leak in the house we are living in. It was 20 degrees and snowing and the water pipe underground cracked. Then it was just one thing after another; the pipe was broken farther back than originally thought, the tractor with the backhoe attachment would not start, a septic lateral line that we didn't know about was hit, and finally the water heater had run dry and burnt up the heating elements in it.  Chris has been working on hanging the rest of the ceiling in the North grain bin. He started taping the joints in one room and got the first coat on it all. Chris also has been testing all the plumbing lines to make sure there are no leaks before he covers then with drywall.

Starting the finishing of the drywall in a few of the areas that are hung,

The walls in the upstairs North Grain bin are hung.

The many pieces of the ceiling are going up in the North Grain bin. That is something Chris is ust having to do by himself  because it is a lot of angles and cuts.

Our heating and air conditioning units were ordered and came the other day. There will be two mini splits units outside and then 7 heads on the inside that will provide all of the air conditioning and the heat that the radiant floor isn't able to provide. The cost of these units were $6000. The quotes that we got for traditional HVAC were anywhere from $12,000 to $20,000.

Hunter brought home several more pieces of tin ceiling that were at his work Now we just have to figure out where we can make them work. Of course, they were free!!
