starting the sorting and moving

The bathroom got a towel rack made out of some of the molding off of a Chevy Apache. You see Chris had a 1959 Chevy Apache Longbed on a 4x4 frame...we was very sad when we had to sell it before Hannah was born. We bought this and another piece of trim from one, just in case he ended up with one again.

This is the projector screen when it is rolled down. We were able to watch the World Series on it.

This is the guest room...which for now is ouur new room..until our new room is finished. Chris got inpatient this weekend and decided to start moving things in so I get to spend all of my time packing, unpacking and sorting through 2 storage units full of stuff and the stuff that was in the trailer.

Hannah was the first to move in. She moved in before her birthday which was last week. We went and got the bedroom set from my Grandma and set it up for her. You can see why she has loved this set since she was a little girl.

We also got Abi's room set up and her moved in this weekend. She loves having her own room.

In the library Chris took some of the old blueprints that we bought from the University Club auction in Kansas city and framed them on the wall. These blueprints are from as early as 1922 and then a remodel took place in 1937.
This is a better picture of the wall finished. We have to work on the window trim and baseboards and then this room is done. That will leave the master bedroom and a few odds and ends.
